Nintendo's expansion into the mobile arena continues, with the latest announcement being Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will receive its very own smartphone service known as Smash World. During the final Smash Direct, series creator Masahiro Sakurai confirmed the app-style service would be free to use.
Instead of focusing on detailed stats regarding a player's win to loss ratio, the new service is more orientated towards sharing fun Smash-related content - with the ability to post and watch videos. Plenty of other features and more details about the service (due out in 2019) will be revealed in the future.
