Now that the majority of Switch owners have played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Did You Know Gaming recently uploaded a lengthy video sharing a bunch of interesting facts, secrets and easter eggs about the game.
It turns out the project plan for this game was dated around the same day as the final Super Smash Bros. presentation for the Wii U and 3DS. According to Sakurai, it was just a coincidence. The creator of the series also considers this latest game to be the sixth entry in the series, as the 3DS and Wii U had different levels and content. When the project initially began, Masahiro scared his team by revealing how he wanted to include every character ever featured in the series.
