If you're anything like us, you'll be rushing to the cinema to see Detective Pikachu when it hits the big screen in May. If you've watched any of the trailers, you'll no doubt recognise Ryan Reynolds' voicework as Detective Pikachu. The playful and sarcastic nature of his personality which worked so well in Deadpool is likely to serve Detective Pikachu as well, although we can safely assume there are less F-bombs this time around.
The movie would no doubt have felt quite a bit different (for better or worse) had Danny DeVito been given the role, as this petition with over 50,000 supporters demanded.
