3DS Sales Might Be Lower, But The Demand Is Still Stable

More handheld series also expected on Switch.

Although there was no mention of future games support for the 3DS at Nintendo's financial briefing last month, a recently translated Q&A has revealed the system is still performing, sales-wise.

Despite a scaled-back sales plan for the 3DS this fiscal year, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa believes the demand for the unit is "stable" and reiterated how it would continue to be sold as an entry-level video game device:
