Version 1.1.0 is here.
A new update for Super Mario Maker 2 has arrived and it adds a number of new multiplayer features that didn't make it to the game in time for its launch. The most exciting news is that you can now play with your friends online in either multiplayer versus and multiplayer co-op.
Apart from this, the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app is now supported, Joy-Cons can be used in a horizontal position, "Nearby Play" and "LAN Play" have been added, and various adjustments have been made. There are a number of other changes and fixes, covering areas such as Maker Profiles and Course Maker. Below are the full patch notes for Version 1.1.0:
