It has outdone the original game.
Luigi's Mansion 3 was unable to top the Japanese and UK charts, being outperformed by Persona 5 Royal, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Death Stranding and FIFA 20. Despite this, it still managed to become the fastest-selling Switch game of 2019 in the UK.
Over in the US, the game has performed much the same. According to NPD Video Game Industry Analyst Mat Piscatella, Luigi's Mansion 3 was the third best-selling game during the month of October within this region.
