We know the former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé was a big fan of Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda and the Metroid series long before he took on the role, but he wasn't exactly the ultimate collector. Despite revealing he had "over 80 games" for the Super Nintendo not long ago, it turns out he didn't own a GameCube when he applied for a role at the company.
Speaking to the Present Value podcast, Reggie said at the time he was interviewed (in 2003), he had an original Xbox and a PlayStation 2 in terms of modern systems, but did not actually own Nintendo's latest hardware. Here's exactly what was said (thanks to Nintendo Enthusiast for the transcript):
