It might be hard to believe considering the project has now raised nearly $2 million USD, but PlatinumGames was actually "really nervous" about The Wonderful 101: Remastered Kickstarter prior to its launch. The main concern was that it wouldn't be successful and could potentially flop due to a lack of interest.
Speaking with Siliconera at PAX East last weekend, the game's original director Hideki Kamiya revealed just how "terrified" the team really was about the Kickstarter debut:
