Production of the Pokémon anime series has been temporarily put on hold due to the current global pandemic's impact in Japan.

TV Tokyo, the Japanese network which broadcasts Pokémon in the region, has updated its upcoming schedule, removing already-planned episodes and replacing them with reruns (thanks, Serebii). It's currently unclear when new episodes will start to air once more or how this might impact the series' western release.
